Synopsis
A young woman returns to her small hometown with short skirts, cigarettes and the habits of a modern flapper. Her appearance causes a sensation among people who remember a different version of her. The visit turns everyday family and community expectations into a test of how much change the town is prepared to accept.
Virginia Lee Corbin's character makes the visible signs of 1920s youth culture central to the comedy. Clothing and smoking function as public declarations of independence, allowing a familiar homecoming story to register contemporary generational friction.
