Synopsis
Two musicians board a sleeper train with their equipment and struggle to occupy a cramped upper berth. Their mistakes disturb other passengers, setting off a chain of arguments while they try to get ready for bed.
Cast
Historical context
This was Laurel and Hardy's second sound film. The overnight journey lets their familiar difficulties with ordinary tasks unfold in a space that offers very little room to recover.
