Synopsis
A Navajo man returns from an Eastern education to find himself excluded by white society and estranged from his own community. His relationship with a woman from another nation creates further conflict. Discovering oil gives him a new opportunity, but securing its benefits means confronting outsiders and the divisions separating the people he wants to help.
