Synopsis
A telegraph operator receives a large payroll shipment at an otherwise quiet station. When thieves attack, she sends a call for help and tries to stop them from taking the strongbox. Their escape on a railway handcar carries her into a moving confrontation, while a coworker organizes a pursuit by train.
Cast
Behind the scenes
Griffith revisits the railway-office danger of The Lonedale Operator. Here the heroine follows the stolen money out of the station, extending the suspense from a confined room into a chase along the tracks.
