The King of Paris

Synopsis

An experienced swindler teaches a younger man to treat society as a collection of people to manipulate. Adopting aristocratic identities gives the pair access to Parisian wealth, and a rich duchess becomes the target of a marriage scheme. Her son, who has chosen the simpler life of a sculptor, stands between their calculated ambitions and the fortune they expect to obtain.
