Synopsis
Two hungry drifters pretend that one of them is a boxing champion, hoping to earn an easy meal. A local strongman agrees to fight him, but the real champion arrives before the bout. With an unruly referee and an increasingly disorderly audience, the contest soon expands into a chase that spills beyond the boxing ring.
Cast
Behind the scenes
Roscoe Arbuckle leads this Keystone comedy, with Chaplin appearing later as the referee. Its shift from prizefight to large-scale pursuit brings together several performers from the studio's early comedy company.
