Synopsis

Joel loves Priscilla but discovers that she has been promised to his older brother Mark, a ship's captain. The brothers sail for Singapore carrying the unresolved rivalry with them. Mark's drinking and a treacherous crew deepen the conflict, leaving Joel to confront accusations about his brother's fate.

Ben Ames Williams's novel All the Brothers Were Valiant supplied the material for this maritime romance. It had already been filmed before this version, and returned to the screen again in the sound era.
