Synopsis
The birds of Chirpendale lead busy lives in their miniature town until a threatening crow disrupts the peace. Bill, a feathered taxi driver, must protect Coo and help the community confront the intruder. Trained animals perform the action in a live-action fantasy built around a very small-scale world.

Behind the scenes
George Burton's trained birds worked on a tabletop village, with only a short human introduction before the animal story. Filmed in Trucolor, the production received an honorary Academy Award for its unusual use of the medium. It also appeared during the industry's transition toward acetate safety-film prints.
