Synopsis
An undercover marshal pursuing a bandit arrives too late to prevent a theft and becomes a suspect himself. The local sheriff's mistake complicates the search. To restore his position, the stranger must connect a series of robberies to the people who benefit from them.
The film belongs to John Wayne's early cycle of economical Westerns with Robert N. Bradbury. George Hayes and stunt specialist Yakima Canutt connect it to a recurring pool of genre performers.
