Synopsis
Two students invite young women to lunch expecting a wealthy visiting aunt to provide the necessary supervision. When she fails to arrive, their friend puts on a theatrical disguise and takes her place. The deception becomes harder to sustain when older men begin courting the supposed heiress and the real aunt approaches the gathering.
Syd Chaplin leads this version of Brandon Thomas's widely performed farce. The silent adaptation turns the borrowed female identity into a physical performance while preserving the play's collision of romantic convenience and interest in an assumed fortune.
