Synopsis
A disastrous round of golf leaves Buster unconscious and gives an escaped convict the chance to exchange clothes with him. Mistaken for a condemned prisoner, he enters a jail where uniforms repeatedly change their meaning. Avoiding the gallows is only the beginning of his struggle to escape.
Cast
Behind the scenes
Keaton and Edward F. Cline build the two-reel comedy around substitutions, elastic physical gags and a prison revolt. Buster's apparent authority depends on which clothes he happens to be wearing.
