Synopsis
Raised away from a deadly family feud, Willie returns to claim an inheritance and befriends a young woman on the train. Her family's rules of hospitality offer protection with strict limits. A visit to their home becomes a comic struggle to remain a guest.

California railway and river locations supplied the journey, while the celebrated waterfall rescue was constructed at Keaton's studio. The film combines period transport, location work and carefully engineered physical comedy.
