Synopsis
A camera crew tries to record a children's race in Venice, California, but a spectator repeatedly places himself in front of the lens. Pushing him aside only encourages another attempt to become the subject of the picture. The sporting event continues around a small battle over who deserves the camera's attention.
Cast
Behind the scenes
Chaplin and Henry Lehrman performed among spectators at an actual race. This was the first released film to show Chaplin's Tramp costume, although Mabel's Strange Predicament had been filmed with the character before it.
