Synopsis
A travelling trickster sends the boy he has raised to Plumfield, a country school run by Jo and her husband. The youngster's unruly arrival challenges the community, while the adults who brought him there struggle with their own habits. Louisa May Alcott's school becomes the meeting point for a family story and the schemes of two unlikely guardians.
