Synopsis
A distracted shop owner misses his anniversary party while dealing with a damaged mannequin. Seen carrying it through the street, he is mistaken for a man with another woman and then for someone carrying a body. Domestic suspicion and police interest converge on an innocent errand.
Harry Langdon, Betty Blythe and several fellow performers had been silent-film stars. The mannequin misunderstanding gives the sound comedy a premise particularly suited to their background in visually legible confusion.
