Synopsis
An experiment leaves a scientist with an ape-like body and a desperate need for a cure. His proposed remedy requires fresh human spinal fluid. Meanwhile, a reporter and photographer investigate his disappearance, approaching a secret whose discovery puts them at risk.
Karl Brown's story They Creep in the Dark supplied the basis. Announced initially as The Gorilla Strikes, the film combines a monstrous transformation with the investigative routines of a newspaper mystery.
