Prostitute

Synopsis

Several women in Moscow are pushed toward sexual exploitation by poverty, bereavement and abuse. Lyuba loses the protection of her family, while Vera struggles to support herself after her husband's death. Their experiences, and those of a former servant, bring attention to the people who profit from women with few safe ways to earn a living.
