Synopsis
A runaway boy and his dog meet a sailor hurrying back to his ship. The boy's ingenuity helps them obtain a lift, but his search for a family soon creates the impression that the sailor is an irresponsible father. A woman at the naval base spreads the story, leaving the bewildered serviceman to untangle a reputation he never earned.
