Synopsis

A ranch for homeless boys faces foreclosure just as Roy Rogers returns to visit. One resident has been receiving parcels of stolen money from his outlaw father and sees the cash as a solution to the ranch's debts. His well-meant plan draws surviving gang members to the property, forcing Roy to protect both the institution and the boy.

Cast

Historical context

The rescue of a charitable ranch gives Republic's familiar singing-cowboy format a story about responsibility across generations. Dale Evans plays a nightclub singer linked to the outlaw's family, connecting the rural community to the city where Roy searches for help.
