Synopsis
A radio engineer loses his job while federal investigators search for spies passing shipping information to enemy submarines. Desperate for work, he accepts an assignment involving a stolen transmitter. An apparent new acquaintance is also watching him, leaving the engineer caught between a criminal recruitment effort and an operation he does not understand.

Pine-Thomas filmed the thriller in June 1942, before its 1943 release through Paramount. Like other wartime espionage pictures, it links technical expertise with anxiety about infiltration at home. Existing aviation footage helped supply action beyond the production's studio scenes.
