Synopsis
A presidential train is due to stop in a small California town. Men claiming to be federal agents enter a family's hilltop home, whose view gives it strategic importance. The household discovers that the supposed security detail has a very different purpose.
Richard Sale adapted his story Active Duty into a fictional assassination thriller. The premise uses the practical visibility of a presidential train journey to concentrate a national threat inside one family's home.
