Synopsis
A Canadian Mountie discards his uniform to pursue a fraudulent mining promoter wanted in a murder inquiry. The trail leads to New York, where the suspect threatens another woman and repeatedly escapes capture. Following him back toward Canada stretches the officer's determination across city hideouts, border crossings and a long separation from home.
