Synopsis
A secret society decides that a wealthy man must die and assigns the killing through a draw of cards. The chosen assassin loves a woman devoted to the organisation, who offers marriage to strengthen his resolve. Their new attachment changes how they view the mission, while a jealous fellow member watches their loyalty begin to falter.
