Synopsis

An escaped safecracker is delivered to a secluded operation run by a former military officer. A captive scientist can make him invisible, allowing thefts of tightly guarded nuclear materials. The arrangement promises power to his captor and freedom to the thief, but the experiment has consequences neither man can comfortably control.

Cast

Behind the scenes

Edgar G. Ulmer made this film and Beyond the Time Barrier in Texas on closely linked schedules. The premise joins a scientific experiment to a conventional robbery plot. Marguerite Chapman, playing an accomplice drawn into the safecracker's plans, made her final feature-film appearance here.
