Synopsis
Brides collapse during their weddings and their bodies disappear before reaching a mortuary. A reporter notices an unusual flower linking the cases and follows it to a specialist living in an isolated house. Her investigation uncovers a household whose attempts to preserve one woman's youth depend on the disappearance of others.
Monogram paired Bela Lugosi's scientist with Luana Walters's investigative reporter in a compact horror mystery. Filming began in March 1942. Orchids, apparent death and a concealed laboratory allow the story to combine a newspaper investigation with the familiar isolated-house thriller.
