Synopsis
An escaped prisoner commandeers a racing driver's Jaguar and takes its owner along as a hostage. A road race heading toward Mexico offers him a possible route to freedom, but his passenger refuses to surrender control of her life. Speed, suspicion and an uneasy attraction complicate a getaway built on increasingly desperate decisions.
Roger Corman financed this early production and helped film the racing sequences. John Ireland combined the leading role with directing duties shared with Edward Sampson. The film was an early release for American Releasing Corporation, the company that became American International Pictures.
