Synopsis
An Indigenous community is forced to retreat as white settlers advance. The film presents displacement through the people losing their home, turning a familiar western situation toward the experience of those being driven away.

Cast
Historical context
Griffith filmed the short in New York State. Its sympathetic intention coexists with an outsider's melodramatic portrayal of Indigenous people, rather than an account made from within the represented community.
