Synopsis
Two taxi operators struggle to keep their open-air business running while transporting musicians to a society party. Their work draws them into a romance complicated by money, a missing property deed and a rival's interference.
Cast
Historical context
The film brings the Amos 'n' Andy radio characters to the screen through white performers in blackface. Duke Ellington and his orchestra also appear; the musical performances share the film with racial stereotypes central to its period comedy.
