Synopsis
Two American test pilots face different consequences from the European war. Prejudice drives the German-born Fred home to enlist, and his close friend Bob follows him. Friendship must survive divided national loyalties and the demands of combat aviation.

Behind the scenes
The production reused aerial material from Hell's Angels. Ben Lyon's presence in both films helped connect the older footage to newly filmed scenes, allowing an inexpensive picture to borrow the scale of a major production.
