Synopsis
A young country doctor favours activity and cheerful company over the restrictive treatment prescribed by a fashionable specialist. Called to advise on a wealthy man's daughter, he finds a patient kept indoors and dependent on medicine. His unconventional effort to restore her confidence becomes complicated by romance and an invented night of alarming events.
Harold Lloyd's comedy contrasts personal attention with a doctor's financial interest in prolonged treatment. The deliberately exaggerated cures and scares serve the comic plot, rather than presenting dependable medical practice.
