Synopsis

A wealthy hypochondriac travels to a South American island for the rest he believes his health requires. Instead, he arrives during an uprising organised by an outside profiteer. Initially too absorbed in his imagined ailments to recognise the danger, he becomes involved in restoring order with help from an unusually imposing new friend.

Cast

Behind the scenes

This was Harold Lloyd's final feature made in partnership with Hal Roach. The comedy replaces the expected peaceful health retreat with a fictional revolution, using the hero's misplaced anxieties to delay his recognition of actual risk.
