Synopsis

A chorus dancer accepts a lift in a millionaire's car and is suddenly rumoured to be his fiancée. Her financially desperate producer sees the misunderstanding as a way to save his show. When the actual millionaire arrives, a second mistaken identity lets the deception grow into an unexpected romance.

The film was made in Britain, principally at Elstree Studios, with financing that included the National Film Finance Corporation. Its British release came in 1951, ahead of American distribution through RKO in 1952, which explains differing dates in some listings.
