Synopsis

An unhappy orphan believes that bad luck will follow her until she marries. A courageous rescue brings adoption and affection, seemingly ending her isolation. Fascination with a film she sees on a date then leads to an alarming misunderstanding, making her fear that the old curse has survived her change of home.
