Synopsis
A wounded criminal dies outside a wax museum, where an ambitious reporter hides his body among the exhibits to secure an exclusive story. A rival journalist, an anxious caretaker and the killer all want to find the corpse for different reasons. Moving it only multiplies the misunderstandings as the night's search grows more dangerous.
The project was developed under the comic working title Cheese It, Corpse. The finished film retains that mixture of macabre material and newsroom farce, using the wax museum to make a dead body alternately conspicuous and almost impossible to distinguish from its surroundings.
