Synopsis

Rejected after an impulsive proposal, a wealthy man boards a ship for a planned honeymoon alone. A mistaken berth leaves him in an unexpected situation aboard a large vessel. Practical tasks become monumental problems for someone accustomed to having every need met by servants.

Cast

Behind the scenes

The former USAT Buford supplied the enormous setting. Building comedy around an actual ship allowed Keaton to turn kitchens, decks and machinery into a connected system of physical challenges.
