Synopsis
Inspired by aviation celebrity Charles Lindbergh, Mickey builds an improvised airplane and invites Minnie aboard. The flight soon escapes the rules of ordinary mechanics, with the countryside becoming part of an aerial obstacle course. His attempts to force a kiss create a second conflict in the cockpit, giving Minnie good reason to find her own way back to the ground.
Cast

Behind the scenes
Produced and previewed as a silent cartoon in 1928, Plane Crazy received a synchronized soundtrack for its 1929 release. It was made before Steamboat Willie, although that later production reached distribution first.
