Synopsis

Two drifters discover the aftermath of an attack on a freight convoy and help the owner's surviving daughter. Taking over her deliveries puts them in the path of men seeking a transport monopoly. Jobs as entertainers in a saloon and courtroom give them another way to investigate the gang behind the killings.

Cast

Historical context

Tex Ritter's songs and Al St. John's comedy share space with a story about control of a community's freight supply. The eccentric judge is named Roy Dean; the film itself distinguishes him from the historical Judge Roy Bean.
