Synopsis
A young princess becomes the target of a jealous queen who cannot tolerate a rival to her beauty. Escaping into the forest brings her to the shelter of seven dwarfs, but distance from the palace does not end the danger. Disguise and enchantment carry the queen's hostility into the refuge the princess has found.
Marguerite Clark repeats her stage role in Winthrop Ames's adaptation of the Brothers Grimm tale. Walt Disney saw this live-action film as a teenager and later identified the experience as an influence on his own animated Snow White.
