Synopsis

A lawman poses as an outlaw to enter a gang operating from a border hacienda. Its members kill miners to seize valuable claims, and their new recruit must appear willing to join the violence. When the assignment turns into a murder accusation against him, keeping his cover becomes a dangerous liability.

Cast

Behind the scenes

This was Tex Ritter's feature-film debut, introducing the singing-cowboy persona that shaped his early screen career. Former outlaw Al Jennings contributed to the screenplay and appeared as a judge, bringing an unusual personal history to the supporting cast.
