Synopsis
Concerned about her father's failing health, the daughter of a comics publisher learns that he has not laughed in years. She and her fiancé recruit entertainers to bring humour back into the house. Their increasingly elaborate attempts lead beyond the performers to a family separation that a succession of jokes alone cannot repair.
