Synopsis

Mickey turns prison labour into a musical performance while a guard sleeps. The resulting disturbance becomes a riot and escape attempt, followed by a pursuit through the woods with bloodhounds close behind.

Behind the scenes

The dogs animated for the chase helped establish the design and movement later associated with Pluto. Music and prison tools turn collective labour into the cartoon's first act of disorder.
