Synopsis
Unable to afford medicine for her father, Faith accepts a man's offer to help her establish a new life in the north. His promises of work and marriage conceal an intention to exploit her. Discovering the deception sends her into a struggle for independence, where unfamiliar terrain and unexpected allies offer an alternative to the future he has arranged.
