Synopsis
A scientist becomes obsessed with a concert pianist's daughter and uses a fabricated medical crisis to gain power over the family. He deliberately makes the musician ill, then offers treatment on his own terms. The pianist's changing appearance conceals a crime whose purpose reaches beyond the doctor's laboratory.

The screenplay turns acromegaly into a sensational device for coercion and physical transformation. Its disease-inducing serum belongs to horror fiction, rather than an accurate account of the condition. Albert Glasser composed the score at the beginning of his long career in low-budget film music.
