Synopsis
Searching for a missing miner and his daughter, Rod Drew rescues an old friend from a murder accusation. Their flight leads to a deserted cabin, two skeletons and a map pointing toward gold. The discovery attracts a new set of enemies, turning the original search into a struggle over the map and its destination.

Inspirations
The adventure draws on James Oliver Curwood's novel The Wolf Hunters. Location backgrounds around Mammoth Lakes give its northern setting a different appearance from many of John Wayne's low-budget Westerns of the same period. Noah Beery and his son Noah Beery Jr. both appear in the cast.
