Synopsis
An insurance investigator joins a showboat's performers while searching for a fugitive and missing payroll money. Meeting the prisoner's daughter makes him question whether the right man was convicted. Together they follow the trail of the stolen cash, using the travelling entertainment as cover while the real culprit tries to remain out of sight.
