Synopsis
A dramatized Jenny Lind pursues a singing career while romance and theatrical promotion shape her public life. Operatic performances connect the fictionalized story to the talent that made the historical singer famous.
Cast
Historical context
Grace Moore plays Lind, with Wallace Beery as P. T. Barnum. The film is a highly fictionalized star biography; contemporary criticism also challenged its mixture of historical material and invented romance.
