Synopsis
A young couple's attachment crosses the political divisions of the American Revolution. Family loyalties and military commitments pull them toward opposing sides, while violence carries the conflict from Massachusetts into New York's frontier settlements. Their efforts to remain connected unfold alongside a patriotic account of the struggle for independence.
