Synopsis
A reporter's drinking threatens both his job and his marriage to a journalist at a rival paper. Fired while investigating drug dealers, he continues pursuing the story. His editor's murder changes the assignment into a fight against an accusation directed at himself.
George S. Brooks's For Two Cents supplied the material. Carole Lombard appears under the early credit Carol Lombard, a small record of her developing screen identity in the transition to sound.
