Synopsis

Ballerina Vera Nevolina offers her jewels to help Vladimir, the man she loves, escape his debts. He looks for another solution: marriage to a wealthy widow. Vera's generosity and Vladimir's calculation pull their relationship apart in a drama built around the collision of affection, money and betrayal.
