Synopsis

Zorro's son travels in Spain, where his skill with a whip attracts royal attention and a guardsman's resentment. A rivalry over a young woman becomes entangled with court intrigue. Accused and forced into hiding, he must outwit an enemy determined to turn a damaged reputation into a permanent advantage.

Inspirations

The story loosely adapts the 1909 novel Don Q.'s Love Story into a sequel to The Mark of Zorro. Douglas Fairbanks returns to the family legend through the next generation, replacing much of the earlier film's swordplay with elaborate whip action.
